Defe-shit

At this point Obama is not making too many friends or doing a great job at satiating the masses of Democratic voters. However, his budget/deficit proposal is one thing that I can get behind. It seems almost to simple a solution: tax the rich at the same rate as everyone else! These tax cuts put in place by stupid George W. Bush has had a huge impact on the country. It is time to be fair and follow the motto that "all men are created equal" and remove the Republican bullshit of "some are created more equal than others"! I am completely outraged that some of the largest corporations in the world are allowed to pay absolutely no taxes! Paul Ryan is championing a plan that would slash medicare for those under 55. Well wake the fuck up man, thats a huge portion of the population and it is a necessary part of our country. The majority of us are already saddled with enormous health care costs that should, in my opinion, be subsidized by the government like most other developed nations. Paul Ryan is a fucking joke. He thinks that Obama should listen to what he has to say and that his plan is the end-all solution. Guess what? You did not get elected President so you have no right to be saying things about Obamas Criticism of the Republican defecit plan like

"This is very sad and very unfortunate,'' said Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.), the leading House GOP voice on deficit-cutting. "Rather than building bridges, he's poisoning wells.''

Of course its ok when the Republicans bash Obama and question his birth origin, get a grip G.O.P.! That's not the real issue here. They are already campaigning against the Democrats and that's why shit is hitting the fan so hard. I am personally getting sick of the two party mud slinging bullshit. It is time to open up politics to more than 2 views and allow for the new generation to have some say in how and where this country is heading. It's too bad that my generation is a bunch of lazy asses that only care about technology and living off their parents money. If we could unite on a common cause that is not hating Jessica Blacks "Friday" (a very stupid song) then maybe we could get something going here.

Respect the desk bubble

My cube-mates desk resembles something like this except you need to add more pistachio shells and soda bottle caps all over the place. Unfortunately, their mess has now started to overflow onto my desk and this irritates me very much. I try to keep my space organized and not messy, because you can't do that does not mean that you can leach off my clean desk. I almost want to do a Dwight Schrute and push their stuff back with a ruler and clearly define the boundary of their shit pile. I cannot comprehend how anyone can get work done with so much piled up crap in the way. The other day my cube-mate spilled coffee all over their desk and I just watched as they wiped down the mouse only and allowed the random piles of paper to sop up the rest of the puddle. It boggles my mind. Playing nicey nicey in the office is important but there are reasons that we all have our personal bubble and why it should not be invaded. In the office my bubble extends to the edges of my desk. Don't mess with my bubble people.

Rain-izy Day-izy

Another crap-ass day in the city. Raining again and making things more difficult for commuting. Walking to the train station I have to walk on certain sides of the street to avoid being splashed by passing cars driving through puddles. All the people in my office who are avid cyclists have to find other ways to make it to work and that puts them in a weird mood all day long. I think the endorphins released during the exercise is missing and thats what sets them off.
At this point winter is over and spring is officially here in New England. April can be a tough month due to the excessive rain that we receive and everyone's desire for summer to arrive. The saying is true that " April showers bring May flowers" as cliche as it is. Up north winter is slowly releasing its grip on the mountains. Plants and animals are coming out of hibernation awakened by the increasing daylight and temperatures. I think that all New Englanders go into a state of hibernation and are now feeling groggy as they awaken to the beautiful season ahead. Especially after the winter this year, which was very long, cold, and extra snowy.

Scumbag Government

Dear US Govt.,

I want to know why you cannot agree on anything. How can you expect the rest of the country to function on time and do all the daily civic duties when you cant even pass a damn budget bill!? It is an outrage that if the govt. shuts down the soldiers overseas will not be seeing their paychecks! Like the image portrays, their is much dissent amongst the troops. They already are disillusioned by the 2 WARS we are fighting, long tours of duty, and inferior equipment/protection do we really want to revoke their pay because a bunch of selfish asshole politicians cant agree on something. There may be a time where the military and all its might will have to act against the government for its lack of support and cooperation. I am not espousing this I am just calling things as I see them.

This picture helps me to remember to MAN THE FUCK UP and deal with the bull shit that the world deals to you. If this youngster can put up with a shot from a most likely under qualified nurse than so can I. I actually hate shots and they scare me a lot and I usually get to the brink of passing out. There are a vast amount of people looking for pity and hoping for their ego to be stroked. That is not me. Obviously everyone has things go awry in their life and how one recovers from it and moves forward is the true test of a persons character. When I was younger I never thought I would be where I am now. Not that it's a bad place to be, it's just not what I had expected or prepared for. I am still learning how to be a productive member of society and get along with the mainstream. Many nights spent seeing and feeling things most people will never experience has not prepared me for where I am currently at with my life. So here I am an architect floating in space.
