Another crap-ass day in the city. Raining again and making things more difficult for commuting. Walking to the train station I have to walk on certain sides of the street to avoid being splashed by passing cars driving through puddles. All the people in my office who are avid cyclists have to find other ways to make it to work and that puts them in a weird mood all day long. I think the endorphins released during the exercise is missing and thats what sets them off.
At this point winter is over and spring is officially here in New England. April can be a tough month due to the excessive rain that we receive and everyone's desire for summer to arrive. The saying is true that " April showers bring May flowers" as cliche as it is. Up north winter is slowly releasing its grip on the mountains. Plants and animals are coming out of hibernation awakened by the increasing daylight and temperatures. I think that all New Englanders go into a state of hibernation and are now feeling groggy as they awaken to the beautiful season ahead. Especially after the winter this year, which was very long, cold, and extra snowy.
